Interstate Asphalt of Washington was built on a simple rule: every job is the foundation of our reputation. This is a family operation, crew members who grew up in the trade, passed the shovel and the rake down the line, and have spent decades paving around Washington State. We've seen every kind of driveway, every kind of parking lot, and every kind of shortcut a cheaper crew will try to take. We refuse to run the job any way but the right way.
PNW pavement fails from the bottom up. Wet winters saturate the subgrade, clay softens and freeze-thaw cycles open cracks every spring. Tree roots heave older edges, and moss grows into hairline cracks. If the base, compaction or drainage is wrong, the surface shows it quickly.
We spec every job to outlast those conditions. Base depth, positive drainage and aggregate are matched to the site and intended use. What you get is straight talk on what your surface needs, a written number and a crew that stays tidy, shows up on time and finishes what it starts.
